COVID-19 Visitor Information

Information about your Holy Mass visit

Dear guests,

we look forward to your visit to the Hofburgkapelle and have already made all the preparations so that you can celebrate a pleasant and safe Holy Mass with us. Before your visit please have a look at the safety measures below.

COVID-19-Measures of the Wiener Hofburgkapelle:

Please bring an ID card to the performance. We will check randomly whether the name printed on the ticket matches the name of the visitor.

In accordance with current legal regulations, please wear a face mask covering both your nose and mouth for the entire duration of the Holy Mass, even while you are at your numbered seat. Please bring your own mask. A face visor may only be used in combination with a face mask or with a medical certificate instead of the mask.

When entering the Wiener Hofburgkapelle we ask you to disinfect your hands with the provided disinfectant.

Please always keep a distance of at least 1 meter, if possible better 1.5 meter, to other people.

Please follow the general hygiene recommendations (keep your distance, wash your hands regularly, disinfect your hands, do not shake hands, do not touch your eyes, nose and mouth, sneeze or cough in the crook of your arm or in a handkerchief which you dispose of immediately).

If COVID-19 symptoms are present, or you fear to be ill, do not enter the venue.

Symptoms can be: Cough, fever, sniffles, disturbance of the sense of smell and/or taste, pneumonia, sore throat, headache and aching limbs, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, skin rash, swelling of lymph nodes, apathy.

Please ensure that the minimum distance is observed, especially when entering and leaving the chapel, and please leave/enter the chapel slowly, punctually and calmly. Please plan enough time and do not arrive just before the Holy Mass begins.

The seat may not be changed. Free seats serve to maintain the safety distance.

When leaving the Hofburgkapelle, we ask visitors sitting in the seats at the aisle to leave the rows first. We also ask for an outflow in blocks from the back to the front. This means that the last row leaves the chapel first, the first row at the end.

Photography or video/sound recordings during the Holy Mass and taking drinks and food with you is prohibited.

Any liability of Wiener Hofmusikkapelle and Culturall in connection with the rules of conduct and safety measures is excluded.

After the Holy Mass:

Should you be tested positive for COVID-19 shortly after the event or become a suspected case, please contact the telephone health consultation 1450 and office@hofmusikkapelle.gv.at immediately. The health authority will decide on the further procedure and will request the Wiener Hofmusikkapelle to provide the relevant contact data of the attendees if necessary. Spectators who were present at the event in question will then be informed or contacted by the health authorities if necessary.

Nevertheless, we look forward to the service with you and thank you even more for your visit!
