BACH – Ysaÿe – Rheinberger – Schumann

Works for violin and organ

Julian Walder (violin) & Robert Kovács (organ)

Look forward to a contemplative, pre-Advent yet sophisticated concert evening featuring BACH for solo violin and organ, as well as wonderful works by Rheinberger, Ysaÿe and Schumann. With the Hofburgkapelle bathed in coloured light, you will experience two musicians who have won numerous international awards and have been performing together in the Imperial Chapel for five years. Julian Walder plays the 1786 Anselmo Bellosio violin; he made his solo debut in the Great Hall of the Musikverein two years ago and has since been performing worldwide, primarily in Japan. Robert Kovács will be playing the organ for you; he is a partner of the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra – enjoy a duo for an unforgettable late-autumn concert to relax and immerse yourself in the upcoming Advent season.
