The music of Skyrim not only accompanies the action but also shapes the game’s world. It evokes the vastness of mountain valleys, the silence of nighttime paths, the warmth of taverns, the tension before a battle, and the grandeur of ancient legends. Each theme creates its own imagery and awakens that rare feeling that marks the beginning of an adventure.
On this evening, the chamber ensemble Vivalis Project will present instrumental interpretations of the music from Skyrim. In an intimate chamber setting, familiar melodies can be experienced up close, subtle nuances discovered, and the inner emotion of each theme perceived anew. The dialogue between the solemn strings, the powerful French horn, the elegant piano sounds and the rhythmical dynamic of the cajón highlights fine nuances and lets you experience the inner movement of each theme anew. The sound ranges from quiet, almost weightless moments to powerful, solemn climaxes.
This concert is not only for fans of the game, but for anyone who loves atmospheric music that tells stories without words, sparks the imagination, and transports you to another world for an evening.
