An evening between departure and return: In the unique atmosphere of the Vienna Imperial Court Chapel, a musical program unfolds around the profound emotions of homesickness and wanderlust. Three accomplished female musicians on violin, piano, organ, and voice take the audience on a sonic journey through longing, memory, and the desire for new horizons.
At times delicate and intimate, at times powerful and expansive, a rich arc unfolds between nearness and distance, between farewell and reunion. The selected works from various eras and musical styles tell of inner and outer journeys, of the search for belonging, and the magic of being on the move.
An evening of music that touches, connects, and resonates long after the final note.
