Amina Kurbanova
Amina Kurbanova writes prose and poetry. She won the Exil Youth Literature Prize in 2020 and the zeilen.lauf Poetry Prize in 2024. Her short prose and stories have been published in anthologies and literary magazines, such as Zwischenwelt and Words&Worlds Magazine. In her texts, she explores multilingualism, flight and memories, or rather the culture of remembrance. She studies comparative literature at the University of Vienna and language arts at the University of Applied Arts. She works at IG Autorinnen Autoren.
Sara Schmiedl
Sara Schmiedl (born 1999) works with text, writing prose or drama, sometimes something in between, and often in the form of installations and performances. She studied language arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and, as a guest student, dramatic writing at the Berlin University of the Arts. She is currently studying theatre at the Zurich University of the Arts. Her work has recently been presented at the Literaturhaus Wien (2023), Schauspielhaus Bochum (2023), Tanztheater Wuppertal (2023), Volkstheater Wien (2024), Berliner Theaterdiscounter (2024), Dramatiker:innenfestival Graz (2025) and Literaturhaus Zürich (2025).
